Libya

Du trodde kanskje det at alt du leser i media er den direkte sannheten. Jeg må nok skuffe deg, virkeligheten er ikke slik. Du kommer aldri til å se en artikkel om det jeg nå kommer til å skrive, men våre kjære venner i FN har gitt oss litt info om hva som faktisk ikke skjer.


FN's Human Rights Concil kom 1. juni ut med en rapport om hvordan situasjonen er i Libya. HRC ble sendt inn samtidig med Natos styrker for nesten 3 måneder siden.

Dette er det de har konkludert med:

"With regard to the use of weaponry, the commission is concerned that the Libyan authorities have not been making appropriate and precautionary assessments which would, in the commission¹s view, militate against the use of weapons such as mortars in densely- populated urban areas. The commission is also concerned about reports of the use of weapons such as expanding bullets, cluster munitions and phosphorous weapons in highly populated areas. Further investigation, however, including forensic analysis, would be needed to confirm the use of these ammunitions.

Med andre ord, de sier ikke at farlige våpen faktisk blir brukt, men de er redd for at det kan skje. De trenger også mer etterforskning for å kunne bevise at det i hele tatt er blitt brukt ammunisjon av denne typen.

"The consistent pattern of violations identified creates an inference that they were carried out as a result of policy decisions by Colonel Qadhafi and members of his inner circle. Further investigation is required in relation to making definitive findings with regard to the identity of those responsible for the crimes committed. The commission received some information concerning individual perpetrators of crimes, but more investigation is also required on this issue."


De har altså ikke noe bevis.

Hæren til Gadaffi som liksom skal ha blitt utstyr med viagra og satt i med å voldta alle som har noe imot hans regime. Det viser seg derimot at HRC bare fant en person som hadde blitt utsatt for voldtekt, og voldtektsmannen brukte kondom. Media har vel og merke spunnet dette helt ut av proposisjoner og markerer Gadaffi som den sorte ulv og fanden selv. Dagbladet har bl.a. en fin artikkel ang. dette. Se her.


"212. Reports of rape committed by Government forces have been recounted by numerous persons with whom the Commission met. The Commission had the opportunity to speak with only one victim of rape, Ms. Iman al-Obeidi whose case of gang-rape by Government forces has been well publicized by the media. Allegations of rape committed by armed opposition forces and armed civilians were made to the Commission by other persons, including in some cases, family members. The number of cases reported was small."
"219. The Commission received but was unable to verify individual accounts of rape"


Sist men ikke minst så konkluderer de med at de faktisk ikke har peiling på hvem som står bak angrepene.

"The commission was able to accomplish its mandate in a relatively short period of time, particularly for a period of ongoing conflict. It considers that further work has to be done in order to investigate fully the numerous allegations it continues to receive at a time when the conflict is still ongoing. Future work would also permit an assessment of the veracity of the allegations received, particularly with regard to the use of mercenaries, the use of child soldiers, sexual violence and violations against migrant workers. Finally, the commission feels that, at this stage, it is not in a position to identify those responsible, as requested by the Human Rights Council in the resolution establishing its mandate."


Vi holder nå på å bombe en land sønder og sammen uten et solid grunnlag. Det er en borgerkrig satt i gang i Libya hvor to stammer, øst mot vest, kjemper mot hverandre. Merkelig nok har verdenspolitiet valgt å fokusere og beskytte opprørerne fra øst hvor tilfeldig vis all oljen er.
